Some say that she suffers from opsomania/phagomania, others from pica or polyphagia, and others have other things that they say, but, in truth, her only problem when it comes to food is that she is possessed by Beelzebub, the patron demon of Gluttony, and has been since she received the Glass of Conchita. She has recently turned to more gruesome and horrific foods, but will still consume normal foods. She just prefers less appealing foods, and will even consume poisons, treating them as seasonings, and the dishes themselves if she still isn't satisfied. It isn't that rare to find her chewing on her finger/hand, a look of curiosity on her face. She often wonders how she herself tastes, but has yet to actually act on that curiosity beyond the occasional nibble.

On that note, it is nigh on impossible for her to resist food, regardless of what it is or where it's coming from. She has very little self-control concerning food, especially after drinking any alcoholic beverage, and isn't able to keep from eating something for very long.

Banica is a carrier of the Hereditary Evil Raiser Syndrome, thanks in large part to her connection with Sateriasis Venomania, her distant ancestor. However, she is not an "Evil Raiser", as she is only a carrier.

:new: She also likely developed Wendigo Psychosis around the time that she cut herself off from the rest of the world. It is very likely that, had she developed a fear of becoming a cannibal, she got over it before ordering that Joseph be served up to her. However, the original idea that humans could be food was likely put into her head by her mother, who attempted to cook dead servants when the household began running out of food mere months before their ten-year period of living with goula passed.

Conchita actually has Athazagoraphobia (the fear of being forgotten), though she hides it quite well. That is part of why she can be a tad clingy from time to time. It is also part of the reason why she doesn't like for people who come to her home to leave. It stems from the fact that her mother died fairly early in her life, followed by her father a few years later, and that Carlos left her. Not to mention, it is part of why she snapped so harshly at him when he asked for a vacation.

She was actually rather gluttonous as a child. Even before her contract with the demon, she had a fairly large appetite, thanks to having contracted goula as an infant (along with the rest of the household), though it was still within reason (that being that she still ate normal food all the time, though was also more than willing to eat foods considered religiously taboo, such as the delicious baemu). It was only further spurred by her mother, who forced her to eat everything on her plate in an attempt to ensure that her family survived, scolding her when she didn't, and even going as far as forcing any leftover food down her throat. Because of this, her eating habits were also rather crude. She often ate hastily and noisily, relentlessly stuffing food into her mouth, and it was this that caused her engagement with Carlos to be broken off. She has used this large appetite and hasty vigor when eating to easily win competitions, such as Grabia's harvest festival's tomato eating contest. Though, it also caused her to become very ill with "visceral abnormalities", even to a point where she came close to death.

She is somewhat sadistic, finding pleasure in watching others suffer, usually at her hands. She will not always kill someone before eating. If the opportunity presents itself, she will eat someone alive, watching as the life drains from their eyes.

She actually knows that she is possessed, and even converses with Beelzebub from time to time. To be honest, she finds him to be an okay conversation partner, but definitely not her first choice. On occasion, he will join her for dinner, and is much messier an eater than she is. From time to time, she will ask the demon to assist her in catching a meal, but only when absolutely necessary. After all, the demon requires payment, that being, at the very least, half of what she is going after, and she's not one to often share her food willingly. But, she does understand that sometimes, she does need assistance.

At one point after she cut herself off from the outside world, she caused a small outbreak of the Goula disease with the Glass, and later reanimated the infected corpses to increase her previously scant staff. Despite the low intelligence of these "zombies", she is still able to effectively command them, and they currently guard her mansion from intruders.

The changes to her that the demon made can be explained in a more scientific way than you would think, when you don't count the fact that she is, well, possessed. Thanks to it, her levels of Orexin and Ghrelin are increased, while there is a slight mutation of her Leptin receptor (the levels of Leptin, however, are normal), all of which causes her increased appetite. She also has an increased metabolism, which is why she doesn't often gain much weight. This also has a few side effects, like the occasional moodiness and a slightly irregular heartbeat. Along with that, her digestive system seems to be very similar to that of a snake, which, unlike normal humans, are able to digest not only meat from their prey, but also bones as well, though they do this as they often go weeks (and even months) without eating. Though, her digestive tract is also able to digest various non-food items, making it stronger than that of a snake's. That is why she has no troubles when she decides to eat her dishes or any other non-food items, such as human hair or deadly toxins. In the case of poisons, they will simply leave her with a feeling of numbness, but she is easily able to survive (Of course, the same is not true for any poison that also has the powder from sharpening the Golden Key (Vessel of Wrath, which is able to weaken (and perhaps even kill) demons, and can amplify the effects of toxins.) added to it. Not only that, but the natural bacteria in her gut are resistant to her stronger stomach acids and enzymes, meaning that she does not go without the vitamins that they produce, or any other functions that they carry out. Along with that, her stomach actually takes up much of her abdominal cavity (which is usually dominated by the intestinal tract), her liver and gallbladder are abnormally large, and her esophagus is much wider than normal, allowing for her increased food intake.

Along with that, her jaw strength is much more powerful than that of the average human, as humans do not have the strength to bite through many of the harder foods that she eats. Coupled with that, her teeth, as well as her mandible itself, are now more durable, able to withstand applying such immense pressure without fracturing.

Speaking of the glass, it was actually Arte and Pollo who gave it to her, after making a contract with Beelzebub to save her (Because they were reincarnations of Hansel and Gretel, children of Meta Salmhofer, who Conchita bears a strong resemblance to, they are fanatically loyal to her.).

She makes it a habit to have at least one cup of coffee in the morning to help wake her up. She is not a morning person, nor does she claim to be. Also, she is a rather light sleeper, and averages about four to five hours of sleep a night, with the random after-meal nap (usually lasting for an hour) occurring from time to time.

She often dotes on her younger servants, and on all children really. She is quite fond of children, and will often act very motherly towards them. This is, of course, when she isn't being affected by her gluttony.

She is a motherly hostess type, and will take good care of her guests, oftentimes having her servants prepare meals for them that they would like (instead of feeding them more gruesome things that she would prefer), and making sure that their rooms are prepared before they turn in for the night. Usually, they tend to like her, until she makes her gruesome intentions known. If she dislikes her guest(s), or they make her angry enough, then she won't hesitate to eat them right then and there.

However, she won't kill a guest if she starts to like them, but may still eat them. She appreciates people who get to know her and are brave enough to befriend her, even with the rumors flying around about her gruesome appetite (which are usually very true, though she appears to be quite entertained by the fact that some believe her to be a vampire).

Two things she's not good at are cooking and taking care of animals over an extended period of time. Despite being an avid food connoisseur, she actually does not know how to cook. This is, in large part, thanks to her being raised in a home that had chefs preparing the meals. She's fine with simple things, such as tea, but she's kind of clueless beyond that. And, as for animals, she's fine with caring for them for a short period of time, but.... She's not good at it over long periods of time. People, however, are a different matter. She knows how to take care of human guests.

She actually has a mild alcohol addiction, and she often drinks wine with every meal. Her favorite drink is Blood Grave, which she developed for a certain someone (with the help of Grabia's farmers). It has an alcohol content of around 11.7%.

Speaking of drunk, when she gets drunk enough, she is often more prone to cannibalism. It is very wise to not let her drink too much, as it could end in bloodshed. A few drinks are okay, yes, if you don't mind a very bubbly woman practically clinging to you and fooling around with your clothes, either chewing or pulling on them most of the time, but definitely not enough to get her really drunk. Some drinks have slightly different effects on her, depending on the alcohol content and other factors. Generally, the lower the alcohol content, the more she can have before being considered drunk, and the higher the alcohol content, the more dangerous she becomes. So, beer is generally safer for her to have around others, while, say, Poitín, or, heaven forbid, a rectified spirit, would be a quick way to disembowelment.

And, while we're on the subject, when she's only a bit drunk, Conchita is more likely to, eh... Let loose, if you will. Though, at other times, she has little interest in sex (one could go as far as to call her "foodsexual", or even Asexual), but is not completely uninterested. If need be, she may satisfy another's wants to get her way, or to further lull unsuspecting prey into her trap, but it is usually only a last resort. As for her orientation, she is a Demisexual Panromantic, but she favors men over women. And yes, she does have... Eh... Sweet spots, but she won't tell just anyone where they are. They're on her stomach and the nape of her neck shhhhh-

Conchita, truth be told, is still a virgin. If asked, she will not deny it, finding no need to lie about such things. She's not ashamed of it, and will even openly admit to having little to no interest in it at all. It would take someone that she trusts greatly to get her to do such things. Or someone that's willing to risk the consequences of getting her drunk.

It's easy to tell if she likes you (like, as more than a friend) by certain signs. Oftentimes, she'll feel more comfortable with sharing things with you (including her strange and gruesome diet), but most likely won't outright tell you how she feels about you (eh... her love life wasn't the best before). At least, not right away. She may get a bit flustered and trip over her words from time to time, and she may even nibble a little on random parts of your body (more often than not, harmless places like a hand or an ear), but refrain from biting hard enough to cause pain, much less bloodshed. Eventually, she will come clean once she feels... For lack of a better word, brave enough to.

She can be classified as being very yangire, as she can go from motherly to cannibalistic in a matter of minutes, but is more often than not quite friendly. However, she is also very cunning, and may act motherly and kind, while inside she is harboring dark plans, ending in someone's brutal demise and consumption.

She is actually very open-minded. Being a warlord of the very powerful Beelzenian Empire, she has to listen to the people. She was actually the one to help alleviate the food shortages that were plaguing Beelzenia after returning from travelling to foreign countries by introducing new cuisines to the country's previously very bland menu. However, that doesn't mean that she will like everything that someone has to say. She does have opinions after all, and will let you know them, if she so chooses.

She is an excellent strategist and tactician, able to well protect Beelzenia along with the other warlords. She is also quite skilled at games requiring such skills, like chess, and sometimes plays against her servants or guests.

She is a bit old-fashioned when it comes to some things. As far as music players go, her most advanced piece of equipment is an old record player, and plenty of records. She herself is not all that big on new technology (at least, what she doesn't need), but still knows about them.

She has a garden behind her mansion where a variety of fruits and vegetables are grown, and even a small section for more decorative plants, like flowers.

When she kills a servant/guest, she sometimes uses their body for multiple dishes and seasonings, though other times, she will just eat them all at once. When eating someone though, she doesn't always kill them. Sometimes, she'll take only part of them (this is usually reserved for people that she is fond of, but can't resist taking a bite out of), though, more often than not, she will kill them.

When she gets upset or angry with someone, the best way to calm her down is to start rubbing her stomach. It is... Unconventional, yes, but it always works. However, the downside to this is that whoever is doing so is much closer to her than normal, and is therefore more likely to become her next meal.

Conchita is not easily startled. This is because she often has her guard up when around others. But, it is not impossible to catch her by surprise, and when it happens, it's more often than not quite an entertaining sight. If it is enough of a scare, she might even start hyperventilating, but that rarely happens. However, once she gets over it, she may start laughing about it. She actually has a sense of humor, and sometimes liked playing pranks on people when she was younger.

One thing to remember about her is that, should you ever feel like you're in danger of becoming her next meal, you should offer her plenty of sweets. Something about them tends to make her more docile and less likely to attack someone. It isn't always going to work (like, if she's been drinking blood recently), but more often than not, it will. However, if you deny her her drinks, it will end up irritating her, and make her more likely to attack, whether or not she's been given sweets.

Hearing her swear is quite a rare thing. When it happens, your best bet is to get the fuck out of there as fast as possible, because, as you should know by now, she's not afraid of a little bloodshed. However, she won't mind others swearing around her. It doesn't really bother her. It's just that she herself prefers not to if she can help it.

She rather enjoys making deals and bets. It's not a common occurrence, but it happens from time to time. But, when making deals, she'll often twist the words to work in her favor, if at all possible. That also means that she is rather fond of gambling, and enjoys playing card games like Poker and Gin Rummy.

When travelling to foreign countries, she tends to make sure she learns at least basics of the language spoken there, such as grammar rules and vocabulary, as she gets rather embarrassed when she has to ask someone what something means.

Whenever she really likes someone, there are subtle ways that she will show it. She is actually quite affectionate toward anyone that manages to grab her attention. Edging closer to them in the most non-threatening way possible and more close contact, such as hugging are some of those subtle ways. And, there are also some less subtle ways of showing it. Sometimes, she may attempt to feed them small bites of food, and will get rather flustered if they refuse. She may even go as far as calmly and nonchalantly licking them on the cheek, but showing no intentions to harm them in any way.

Conchita is willing to give people the benefit of the doubt sometimes. In that sense, she can be a bit easily fooled. However, if someone tricks her, she will never trust them again, and will do her best to make sure that they suffer a very slow and painful death at her hands.
